My border always falls down =(

I bought a great board border that's sort of 3-d. It like pops out. It's awesome but it constantly falls down!! I have tons of masking tape on it and it just won't stay up. Most of the stuff I put on the wall I have to use double sided tape for it to stay (I think because of the type of paint they use), but I don't want to waste a whole bunch of expensive double sided tape to stick the border up. Plus it's so light it should stay on its own, right?

Any other ideas to keep it from falling down? Walls are cement.

I've heard good things about hot glue if you have it available. I'd definitely do a spot test in an inconspicuous corner first though, just to make sure it doesn't destroy the wall.

I use packing tape(or book tape) to keep mine up. It would stay up even though it was stapled to the wall!

Try electrical tape- that stuff has NEVER failed me

I just used a glue gun for all my anchor charts. I work in an older building and all of the packaging tape in the world wasn't doing it for me. Nothing's fallen down in 2 weeks!

Put a strip of painters tape on wall. Then hot glue the border to the tape. It will stay up and not damage the wall.

We can not hot glue on certain surfaces in our building. This is a way to get around the rule and still have stuff stay. Use the good painters tape. One roll will last a while.
