One More Week... Gift?

I have one week of student teaching left. It's been a positive experience, and completing my internship is bittersweet. I'd like to give my mentor teacher a small gift. He has already given me a membership to NSTA.

He is in his 60s, has two dogs, likes to walk, doesn't drink coffee, does not follow sports, doesn't use (or want to use) much technology...

I like making homemade things, but I don't have a whole lot of time this week to dedicate to crafting.

Any ideas???

Does he walk his dogs? I saw at Wal-Mart these leashes that flash so people can see you if it is dark out. I think there were matching collars too. My neighbor has them and it is pretty cool looking at night.

Those are wonderful ideas! Thank you! I will look for a flashing dog leash and also see if I can find a plain frame at a craft store. I have a wood burner and I could actually burn dog prints on it in a design. Super, thanks!!
