This is a warm fuzzy thread for new teachers to post little victories, happy happenings, and just anything that makes our first year(s) a little brighter! I thought it might be necessary, because most of our posts are about us being really stressed (which comes with the territory).
Here are my top recent fuzzies:
1. A parent stopped the car pick-up line to tell my P that her daughter was really enjoying Latin this year. There's nothing like being called to your P's office to receive good news!
2. A student told me he liked my teaching and that he felt like he understood Latin now.
3. Most of my anxiety from the beginning of the year is fading away and I feel like I spend more time smiling than stressing.
It's still a long road though!
