Looking for a printable height chart?

Each year I have the kids do a time capsule to open up at the end of the year. It's a lot of fun. One of the things they do is measure their height and make a prediction about how much they'll grow. It's always chaos however, helping 22 kids measure their height at once, so this year I thought I'd put up a chart so the kids can measure faster. Easier said than done! I found this one, but it's actually a little hard to read. Does anyone know of another one?

I love this idea. What else do you put in your time capsule?

I am thinking of making a paper growth chart of my own, that looks like a yard stick...to print out yours would use up a lot of my ink...

Let's see, I have:
  • The date
  • My favorite _____ (movie, ice cream, animal, book, band, etc)
  • All about my family (my "trick" to learning about single parents and living arrangements and such)
  • All about my pets
  • I'm nervous about 3rd grade because...
  • I'm excited about 3rd grade because...
  • Today I am (height) and I predict I will be (height) at the end of the year
  • A note to myself in the future...
  • My address is...
  • If I had 3 wishes...

What do you put the time capsule items in?

I think I am going to buy a measuring tape and attach it to the wall. I am going to let them go up in pairs to measure their height...good learning activity for them.

I don't put the capsules in anything. It would be nice to have paper towel rolls to stuff them in (maybe I'll send a note home to parents) but I typically fold them in half, staple them, and shove them in a drawer somewhere
