Classroom layout photos

I'm wondering if anyone takes photos of there classroom layout, and posts them on here. Obviously not of children working, but of the classroom.

I think this would be really helpful to those of us who are "layout" challenged.

I think I rearrange my classroom about 50 times at the beginning of school. It always looks the same to me!

Is this something we could do. I'm going to school this Tuesday, and can take some pics.

If you search, there were many who posted pics at the beginning of the school year in both elementary and secondary threads.

This is my 7th grade language arts classroom. I replaced the wood study tale with a regular table a month or so ago. The other one fell apart! I also have a second computer on there now, with the printer in the middle.

Click the photo below to go to a slideshow of my classroom.

I put my desks in groups for the next unit, but I didn't take any photos. I'm going to do that when I go to school this week to feed my fish.

No photos, but reallly easy to visualize:

6 rows of 7 desks each.

At the front of the room:
Metal cabinet with 2 doors and 2 shelves. Next to that is the computer cabinet. Atop the cabinets is my document camera (Aka "Elmo") and computer moniter. Next to that is my teacher's desk, and next to that is a wooden podium.

I have a blackboard across the front and side of my room, with a pulldown white screen in the front. The projector is mounted from the ceiling.

My side board contains a bulletin board, about 4'long by about 3' high.

This is my classroom. In the photostream--the newer pictures are toward the front. The empty bulletin boards are my focus boards and they change with every unit.

I don't think looking at other classrooms will ever get old to me. It's always fun to see them!

I love my room with tables and no desks. I was worried at the beginning of the year, but it's worked out fine. So much less clutter. Still talking, but nothing unusual. The ones that talk would talk to the walls if I put them in a corner.

Wow, you have a nice room. I hope I can make my room nice like that when I start teaching.
