Special Education Teacher
Hi New Here

Hi guys, well I have decided that I want to teach Special Ed, I have worked in the human service field and have met wonderful teachers who make a difference, I have a Masters in Human services and a BA in psychology and live in GA, so far I have to take the Gace exam for Special Education General Curriculum 081, 082. Would love some feed back and advice, and I am looking for textbooks to help me study but they are so many.

Welcome to A to Z, Armyflower! Special ed exams tend to test general curriculum (that is, the content that elementary ed tests test) plus some aspects of education law and practice. For the general-curriculum content, you might find some help in the Multiple Subject Tests subforum here on A to Z; you can get there by using the Forum Jump tool at the lower left of this page.
