I keep telling myself every summer (when it's hot) that I'll go out more to do errands, etc. later in the day when it gets cooler, but I seem to still go out during the earlier part of the day...probably because I want to get it over w/ so I can relax back at home.

I have to walk the dog early; neither of us can take the heat!

I hate always having tons to do & there's a few things I try to do at one time to save on time because there's not enough hrs in a day to do them separately! And I'm not talking about doing laundry, while reading for example. I'm talking about 2 things that take equal concentration. When I do one thing or two, there's always 10 other things I could be doing. But don't get me wrong. I make time to relax too!

I try to get everything done early in the day too because I love to be able to come home and do what I want with the rest of my day. I figure as long as the major stuff is taken care of, I can be a slug in the summer!

The past few weeks, I can feel myself being more tired, more often. Twice a week, I've had to do a lot more driving & the traffic is pretty bad. The good news is that tomorrow is my last day of this long driving! Yahoo!

On the one hand I am excited for the start of the school year and a regular routine (and a sense of purpose. I would make a terrible 50's house wife.) On the other hand I'm not ready for summer to end. The thought of the alarm going off at 6:00 does not thrill me.
