I am in need of expanding manipulatives in, well, all areas I work at home with my 6 year old son with autism and I have to make everything. He works at a Kindergarten/first grade level (splinter skills). If you can share your own creative ideas and websites, I would be grateful
I like to use the foam sheets you can find in the craft store to make pattern blocks and to make color tiles out of. They are quiet and they don't slide around.
On another note, what type of autism does your son have? I work with asperger's syndrome students in the regular education classroom. Just interested.
