Tabeo tablet in the classroom?

My co-workers and I would love to have iPads for our room but obviously the cost is quite high. I found these (www.tabeo.com) from Toys R'Us and they look as though they'd work for what we'd like to use them for (center activities, phonics, handwriting, etc)

Does anyone currently have one of these? How do you like it?

Way down south in Dixie!
Was PreK SPE, now HS SPE.
I thought about getting a couple for my preschool class. Would love the input from others, too. Yeah, you can't beat that price compared to an iPad. It comes loaded with 50 apps, right?

Yes, 50 pre-loaded apps. And from my understanding, it uses the google store so you can get any app from there too.
