That workaround does not work, but this one does, so far.

Go to View -> Character Encoding and switch to: Western (ISO-8859-1).

It works on new Firefox and Chrome, and Safari (use: Western ISO-Latin-1)--Safari will automatically reload your screen, so you do not have to do that part yourself.

Just tested the page across 3 different browsers with latest builds (IE, Firefox, and Safari) on three different operating system (OS 10.7, Windows 7, and Linux Ubuntu) all worked without any pesky errors

Kudos on the fine hacking skills

@mrktez, you are right, I put the wrong character encoding in my post, will go back and make the change....my mistake; commence ridiculing
