I joined twitter recently but I haven't gotten the hang of why it is so cool. Isn't it just a spin off of the facebook idea without the webpages? I'm trying to see the appeal of it. Those of you who like twitter, tell me what you like about it. Maybe I'm not taking full advantage of it.
I do like that Amanda puts this website OUT there!

I don't think so. I just went to mine to make sure and it doesn't say anything about my real name anywhere on my page. You make a username and have the option of including your "real name" if you want in your profile. You can also make your update page private. You would have to accept any requests to view your page.

This sounds more like a Facebook page. I wasn't aware that we would have a page in order to "twitter".
Thanks for the info, MsTnTeacher.
