Books teaching Inference/Prediction

Does anyone have any titles for teaching inference or prediction - preferably picture or primary books. I teach fifth grade, but I think the younger books would effectively teach the skill. I used to have a list of books for teaching the strategies, but I can't find it.

Thank you

"Yo? Yes!" was one a lot of middle school teachers liked for inferrence at a workshop. Very simple, picture book.

Thank you so much!!! I also just purchased a book I think will be good for teaching the strategies - Revisiting the Reading Workshop by Barbara Orehovec and Marybeth Alley.

You might check out Strategies that Work by Stephanie Harvey and Anne Goudvis. It is an excellent resource and gives idea for teaching all of the reading strategies like:
~Making Connections
~Questioning
~Visualizing
~Inferring
~Determining Importance
and
~Synthesizing

Plus it also has lists of books to help you with each strategy. I had to purchase this for my masters class and was so glad because of the wonderful stuff it has in it!
