Teaching AP Art or Digital Art?

Does anyone have info on how to go about getting the AP certification? I checked college board but it is confusing....can anyone suggest a resource for this? Do you have to pay out of pocket for it?

Hi,

I just did the AP art workshop about a week ago. It cost $780, but my school paid for mine. You are not requried to take the workshop to teach AP art, but it helps. A couple of the teachers at the workshop had taught an AP class last year without having taken the workshop first. They were able to adopt the syllabus from a previous teacher though. Thats the thing -- getting the syllabus approved by College Board.
