Yes, I took TEFL Worldwide Prague. During the course, it wasn't that fun or "exciting," but looking back, it was one of the best months of my life! I got to learn a whole lot about the English language and ways to teach it.
Unfortunately, I didn't pass (it was pretty challenging). I plan to retake it in the future. I would love to teach abroad. I am a very "international" person.
I have a couple friends who have done it. It's actually best to do a course abroad because almost always the company sets you up with a job once you graduate.

Yeah, I have. Some places you may need it and in some places you don't. Careful with those folks (TEFL/TESOL providers). They don't all tell the truth. I wrote some articles about those courses.
Thanks Everyone! I am now looking for a course I could take online as I already live abroad in the UAE. I am not able to relocate to take the full courses abroad at this time. I am looking to take some courses online to continue my education and work here. Also, I wanted to have my certification for when I return to the US. I was looking at the American Tesol Institute but I am having trouble finding reviews.
