Washington is in a pretty bad place currently. There were lots of teacher layoffs towards the end of last year, and many districts are having difficulties with budgeting. Good luck, wherever you decide to go.

Thanks for the info everyone. It sounds like after looking at all the options, we've decided to still come back to the US this year. We'll focus on So Cal because that's where my family is at. If need be, I'll just sub for a year and hopefully land a job before the next school year.

If we need to, we can only move to another state or back to Thailand.
