room for art?

I have to say that we had a HUGE disagreement with our administration about doing art in our class. They were very very adamant against doing it, wanted us to spend more time reading and writing.

This was two years ago and now they are more open minded and all teachers try to add more art to their teaching. Time is always the issue.

I would suggest trying to get a major in both that way you are covered either way when you find a job.
