Well all, I sit now with perverbiale pen (keyboard) and paper (monitor) in hand. I have actually found more information on my Private school vs. Public school topic then I expected, and though my title has not changed my direction has. My original paper was to prove that students receive a better academic education in private school, which I find is not necessarily true. I find that is what is taught beyond the academics that makes private school more valuable. My focus now is on the lack of moral ethics, or character education, being taught in public schools while the administrators and government fight over whether or not it has a religious tendency. So, while our public school officials and government debate our public school students are being raised without the means of such an important education; all the while there is no such argument in the private school systems and these students are being taught the fundamentals of life along with their academic education.
Therefore, my main interest from you all would be your feelings on this direction. I am extremely interested to hear from private and public school teachers their observations on the students they have seen transfer from one to the other, as well as their own experiences as teachers changing from one forum to the other.
I am also interested to hear, from those that were students in both schools, their observations and feelings on the following question:
1. Which forum did you prefer and why?
2. Did you feel safer in one as opposed to the other?
3. Which is more important, in your oppinion, academic education or moral education? (I also pose this question to the teachers)
I do realize that it may all be too much information to respond to on this thread so if you would like to e-mail me, I am at

I thank you all in advance for your help.
