In light of the increased numbers of culturally and linguistically different students in our classrooms, what are some effective strategies that teachers can use?

I feel like this is an essay question.

One technique I'd use with ELLs is to not have them go on an internet forum asking others for answers to the homework. *smh*

With that question, I'm guessing you're trying to get your credentials in CA?
You'll find the answer in your textbook / reading assignments. If your professors haven't suggested it, then I recommend this book https://www.pearson.com/us/higher-e...eference-Guide-3rd-Edition/9780205443253.html

Honestly, if you gave an assignment to your students, would you tolerate them not doing the reading and asking for answers on an internet forum?
