"Reporting" a thread or post on A to Z brings it to the attention of the moderators without responding to the post. As explained here, it is the preferred way under A to Z policy for members to deal with threads or posts that appear to violate forum standards. The so-called "Report button" is one of several links at the end of a post in the line that displays the posting member's name and the Edit and Reply links. That is, at the end of this post by me, most members should see a line that looks something like this:

TeacherGroupie, Today at 8:55 PM __ Report __ #1 Like Reply

It seems, however, that not everyone sees the "Report" link. Please take the survey to indicate that you do or that you don't.

Problem: I don't have a "report" button, but I also can't vote in polls. The two things may be connected.

I can vote in polls, but I don’t have a report button... What is going on here?

Hmmm...looks like you recently passed 1000 posts, while I'm at 774. Maybe 1000 is the benchmark for voting polls?

I can not answer on the poll, and also still do not have a report button.

I don't think so. I have less than 1000 and I can vote

I still don’t have one. Why is that some users have one and others do not?

Would the browser being used have any impact? I honestly have no idea, this is such a weird situation.

Good question. I have no report button and cannot vote in the poll and I'm using Chrome.

Weird. I'm using Chrome as well and can see/do both, so I guess that theory's shot. Ah, well....
