I've tried EBay ($195.00 for 30 books) and that was the cheapest!!! I would REALLY like to have a class set of several novels... but my top two are The Watsons go to Birmingham and Bud, Not Buddy. One teacher suggested I take up a collection, however I don't see the parents agreeing to that... We already ask them for senior dues.

So any suggestions of where I can purchase 30 books (same title) for less than $100.:help: THX!!!!

I have found copies of books at Goodwill, usually 3-4 books, not 30. However, you could get SOME of your collection this way!

I would say Scholastic too. They have books for $1 each all the time. So you could buy a class set for $20-$25 depending on your class. Then you could use the bonus points you get to buy another set after you've accumulated enough points. Look around for Scholastic codes. I found a code on here and got 4000 bonus points. That adds up to a lot of books!

Have you been to the Half Price book store? I am not sure if you have those where you are but they usually have good deals!

Half.com will often sell used books for about a dollar. You'll need to add in for shipping though, which is about $3 per book. But at $4 per book you could get 25 for $100 anyway. Goodwill or used book stores can help you add to the collection hopefully.

When I needed 10 copies of a book for my nutrition class I ended up with the 10 of them from half.com for $42. They retailed for $14 each so I thought that was a good deal.

    Garage Sales

Hey have you checked out garage sales?? Im not sure what you're after but that is where i have got my class set of books. There is usually so many to choose from that you can afford to wait to be picky and get the good quality ones. You will find that they cost anywhere between 10cents and $2 for the big brand new ones. :)
