I have to try it out.

The best calarami I've eaten was the one from Rosebud restaurant in little Italy. It is so fresh.

If the is the same Shed I have been too, it's on the coast down by Biloix and Pascagoula. And I agree donziejo, if we are talking about the same place, it is great food.

But I have to disagree on the best BBQ, nothing beats eastern North Carolina BBQ:D

The best meal I have ever had was at the Monterey Bay Fish Grotto in Pittsburgh. The food was amazing, the view spectacular (on top of a hill overlooking all three rivers) and the atmosphere lovely.

The food was outstanding and still makes my mouth water thinking about my meal.

Here's a link to the menu

I had the stuffed filet yummmmmyyyy

I think I'll be 'hanging out' near Pittsburgh for a few days this summer while Lauren is at a soccer camp; I may need to check it out!

I don't even know if I can answer this question. But the best meal I've had in the past few years was a buffet breakfast at the Paris hotel in Las Vegas...everything there was just first rate, plus they had crepe station!

Speaking of Vegas, the dinner buffet at the MGM Grand is wonderful...on those oversized plates!

There are so many, but my favorite:
main course: backstrap steaks(venison) grilled to perfection by my hubby. They cut like butter when done, melt in your mouth.
dessert: my fraternal grandmother's apple strudel-paper thin; and my maternal grandmother's key lime pie.
bread: I live in the Cleveland area, and many of you will not know Hough bakery-but they had the BEST hot cross buns every Lent. I still miss them-and they have been out of business for almost 25 years!

Oh, school peanut butter was the best. I think it was made from surplus stuff the govenment bought. I came in a number 10 can and I always wondered if canning had something to do with it. It reminded me of the organic stuff.

Oh, but the best thing I have eaten is a crab cake at McCormick and Smidths. It comes with an orange sauce. The crab cake is all fish, with no fillers.

By far the best desserts I've ever eaten were from bakeries in Germany. The Germans use less sugar in their baking, so you get more of the chocolate or fruit flavor than the sugary sweet taste we have here in the States. The chocolate cheesecake at a bakery across from the Marienplatz in Munich was amazing!
