We've still got a little under a month. Looks like I am going to be working for my summer though --- booo!! I am taking a few days off in between and going back to my hometown for a long weekend! Looking forward to that. I'm used to not having summer's off anyway -- haven't had one since I was in high school. Maybe next summer I can truly have a break.

    Flying to Vegas!!!!! :D

Kids are done on the 21st. I'm done the 22nd and will drive back to my hometown to meet my friends. We fly out the 23rd!!!! Can't wait! We will be celebrating my best friends 30th birthday...I'm cutting it a little close because of our snow days, but mother nature let me go.

I wish NC would go back to the old summer break (late May-early August) instead of (mid-June to late August). Our kids in my district are out June 7th, followed by 2 teacher workdays--so my first day of summer is June 12th.

I have a few things I need to do like deep clean my house (carpet cleaning, wall scrubbing sort of stuff). Once that's out of the way I will be spending days by my pool, at the beach, and taking mid-day naps! Cannot wait!

Of course, I get extra time because I'm preggo and my baby is due one week before school starts back up again--so I will be out at least until the last week of September! So mid-day naps and sitting by the pool will continue until summer officially ends :)

I'm a 12 month employee so I dont really have a summer, but I am going to Vegas in July. Yippee! I have three days off next week and I plan on just relaxing, hanging out by the pool, and reading.

School's out for summer! That’s really great time to be spend for personal relaxation and fun with sharpening the skills which is lagging back. So, starting the summer vacation should be planned with the relaxation on the first vary day then moving to fun either by planning for holidays at beach area or to relatives house and then switch to improving the skills that can aid up in study.

The end of my first full week off, I plan to see the movies:

    Hangover III
    After Earth
    Fast & Furious 6
    Oblivion (maybe)

my first 10 days after school ends I always take my daughters to the beach with NO TECHNOLOGY, no cell phones, no internet, not even an answering machine. We have a 100 year old rotary phone on the wall, that is it. We decompress by reading, swimming - playing games, or riding bikes together <3

I'm going to get ready to move into our new apartment by doing a lot of packing. A lot of my friends have some time off as well, so we're going to spend time together. (maybe have lunch, go to the beach, etc.)

Not much. We may have to take a few of the last work days of school off to drive 13 hours away for a specialist appointment. I'm not sure if we've decided it's worth it or not. After we get back I may have to do some catch up work, but then I hope to do nothing for a good week or so.

    Back to Ottawa, mt?

Right now, the last day of school seems so far away, I can't imagine summer holidays.
