Wow, we have some impressive SOs. I haven't seen any, "I have a lazy SOB who is unemployed and living off of my income."

On the topic of house chores, my wife and I split it year-round. There are some chores I don't mind doing and some she doesn't mind doing. Luckily those don't overlap much!

When we lived together, we split everything fairly evenly - though he needed a LOT of prodding to pick up after himself. He did laundry, I put it away; I cooked, he did the dishes; he vacuumed, I dusted; he mowed, I weeded. Now that we not living together, I get the feeling he's gone back to his messy bachelor ways and my OCD is in full flower.

Hey KCJO13 my Dh might work with your DH one day. He is a central region rep for an injection molding company. He has customers in KS, MO, NE, IN, IL, MI, and IA. He does programming, installations, and maintenance on the machines. If your DH went to NPE in Chicago last week, he might have seen him there.
Oh, can't forget that he is a former MARINE.

My DH is a senior commercial loan documentation review analyst. it's a mouthful! Right now he's looking for a new job so that we can move. Hopefully he can get a transfer with his company!

Oh, and he works a second job in retail. All this so that I could finish school. Now I have to get a teaching job!!

My husband was in the Army, he's a combat veteran... He's working as a machinist right now, but once I graduate, he's going to school to be a mechanical engineer.

STG--Good luck to your hubby on going back to teach and coach. Mine would love to do this but can't due to the fact that we have 3 teenagers who think we have a money tree planted in the backyard.
