I think that's a genetic thing. Either you can or you can't, and that's that.

For what it's worth, I've been printing for so long that I actually have to think about it when I try to write in cursive.

Apparently, I can't drive, according to my son.

He forgets that I taught him to drive.

I "can't" open some drink bottles because they're on way too tight. It's embarassing to have to ask my husband to help me so I can get a drink!!! (The flat Propel ones and sometimes Gatorade ones if you're extra curious) :haha:

I can't drive a stick shift. Oh, I could try but I might burn out the clutch.

I just replaced my clutch or I'd offer to teach you. Actually, I had to replace it because I did teach two people to drive stick.

I can't wink with my right eye. I can do it with my left, but never have been able to do it with the right.

I can't dance. I have two left feet. I sway very well and pull off dancing silly very well. What's that old line dance that people do? I can't do that either.
I can't even follow along with the cha cha slide--I'm always two steps behind.

There is an old episode of Sienfeld where Elaine dances--that is SO me!!!

I can't drive a stick shift. I also can't do math very well in my head (hard to admit, but I can't "see" the numbers in my head...hard to explain.

I can't knit. I've tried and tried. I used books, diagrams and even had a friend's mom sit with me to guide me. When I get home and try.....forget it.

I'm so jealous when I hear about movie stars and small children knit without even looking.

    I can't swim.

I have to teach my class music and I am totally not musical. The only music class I took was to get my teaching degree. We didn't have music when I went to school.

I can't drive stick. I was told that if you could drive up a hill from a stopped position than you will have no problem driving a stick. I tried...the people who actually lived on the hill I practiced on came out of their houses and watched me roll down the hill too many times to count .

I can't follow a recipe without forgetting something or misreading something.

I also can't write in cursive.

I'm suprised at the number of people who can't drive a stick shift. I guess in some ways I'm not, but in other ways, I really am. I suppose I thought that everybody could at least get it from point a to point b if they had to, even if it wasn't pretty.

Oh, and proud...the key on the hill is to find the point where the clutch is partially engaged and you have a little pressure on the gas, but the car is totally still. At that point, take off is easy. (finding that point, however, is a little tricky.)
