What does your body crave food-wise? For some reason, I have been obsessed with yellow peppers for the past few weeks. I have bought about four in the past few days. The other night, around 10:00 pm, I really considered going to the store to buy a yellow pepper for my stir-fry (really late dinner). I know cravings usually are a sign of a vitamin deficiency, and I think yellow peppers are full of vitamin A.
I'm not a huge veggie person so I've never had a veggie craving this strong before. Of course, I live in a HOT climate so my body is craving fresh fruits and veggies right now.

    Anyways, what do YOU crave?

ETA: I just went to the store to buy veggies and I swear I could eat that whole yellow pepper raw in front of the tv.

You and my oldest son would get along well right now. That child eats peppers like they're candy.

I've had times where I've had some pretty intense cravings. Most recently I went through a few days when I could not physically eat enough oranges to be satisfied.

I've been craving chips and salsa.

On my diet, the one thing I miss the most is cream cheese. I'll occasionally let myself have a Philly roll if we're getting sushi or splurge and eat a bagel thin with a little bit spread on it. I love it with pepper jelly on a wheat thin, but I haven't gone that far over the edge yet.

I would rather eat a whole yellow pepper with a bit of ranch dressing than eat a hot fudge sundae covered in chocolate. YES, something IS wrong with me.
I am trying to drink more cold water.

I very rarely crave food-food, but I have intense cravings for chocolate. Prior to making a lifestyle change I would binge on chocolate...and I do mean binge. Like what you'd see on a Lifetime movie about eating disoders. Since then I've make huge, huge progress and I haven't caved to a craving and binged in over two months. There was one particular "trigger food" that I've completely avoided the entire time and it just blows my mind that I've been able to do that.

Fresh Fruit, particularly apples and watermelon. Unfortunately, both of those make my throat swell up and makes it hard to breathe.

Great, now I want to go cut up the other one in the fridge.
