Oof! That’s roughly 2.5 months from now... I’d be depressed if I had that long still to wait.

My Easter Break starts this Friday and I get 10 days off. Additionally, I only have 28 school days left (46 days left including weekends).

The last day at my school is May 24 with a 1/2 day and then an inservice day the following Tuesday. We will start back with a week of inservice the last week of August and students start the day after Labor Day.

Our school year is over a month longer than yours! Our kids start the day after Labour Day, but we finish on June 28th.

41 days (25 school days left) for me until summer! And I’m on my break right now and LOVE it. I don’t return until April 29th.

    30 days

That includes 5 days of testing, 2 days off (Election Day & Memorial Day), high school transition day, field day, and the last day which is awards & promotion.

We have almost got it finished!

In a little more than two months!
Then, I might teach Regents Living Environment Intervention in the summer (like last year). It was an inclusion setting, although no co-teacher was provided. All of my students passed the exam retake, which was awesome. Apparently, this never happens. So, since last summer, I learned my methods work with high school students (I am a SPED elem teacher), why not teach even longer?

    Ooh, if I had this...

I'm the type who is just killed by spring break. What more do you ask of me?

I have six weeks to go. I'll aim for a nice strong finish. We have a big school-wide reading project culminating in a trip to the good aquarium (the nearby aquarium is actually just fine and even has perks the other one doesn't, but the target is further, bigger, and therefore more of a treat) so it's not like May will be a dismal month.

We have five instructional days with seniors, and nine days total before seniors leave. We have 14 instructional days left with underclassmen and 19 days left total. But, with state testing most underclassmen will miss at least 2 days of each class between now and then for testing. So we don't have much opportunity to accomplish much...

We just finished state testing today and have 20 days left with students. Four days for teachers only after that.

14 school days left, plus 1 teacher day.
I'm ready to be done with this school year, my class is losing their minds!
I'm also counting down till I'm done with my Master's – I have one more week of this class (and my work for this week is already half done as of Sunday night), then a week off, and then five. more. weeks. I'll be completely finished on June 23rd and I couldn't be more excited.
