Ladies - what recommendations do you have for supportive and comfortable, but also cute, teacher shoes that can be worn with skirts and dresses? I'm okay spending more if they are worth it.

    Thanks!

I wear Keds most days. I also have a pair of ankle booties that are very comfortable, but Keds are definitely my favorite for when I'm walking around a lot.

I'm very fond of everything I've tried on from Clark's. Aerosoles used to be my go-to but they discontinued my favorite style.

I have a really comfortable pair of Clarks in black. The store where I got them doesn't have any other colors or I would have bought a few. Sketchers is my 2nd favorite.

For dressy, comfortable, and cute, I prefer Sofft. They are my favorite shoes. I have several pairs of them. For a very casual sandal, I like Birkenstock.

Keds and Sperry. Just break in the Sperry first before you wear them.

Thank you everyone! Never heard of Sofft, I will look them up. I have a pair of Clarks and I agree, they are great.

Vionic--I have two pairs of sandals and want to get a pair of flats. They are wonderful for plantar fasciitis!

Amen to this. My first pair of Sperrys was the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever had, and I wore them every day for close to two years. They basically fell apart, and when I got my new pair I couldn’t wear them. I haven’t had the patience to break them in and they are awful to wear in the meantime.
Broken in, they’re fabulous. Brand new? Not so much.

I'm on a pretty tight budget, but at the beginning of this year I found a pair of pretty generic black Clark's (not for dresses/skirts) marked way down in my size. I have worn those shoes nearly every day this year. It does prevent me from wearing cuter outfits to school because they only look good with pants/slacks, but I've got back issues and if I try to wear anything else I'll pay for it. Best. Shoes. Ever.

I'm planning to invest in more of their shoes, hopefully getting some "cuter" styles that will go well with dresses and skirts. I'm sold on Clark's!

Sketchers are the best for me, but in the warmer months, I usually wear sandles. I have one pair of Clark's and they are ok. I had a pair of Dansko, did not like them. Crocs hurt my feet, but I know of many teachers who rave about them.

I like Alegria and Dansko. They are both pricey, but last a long time.

Danskos do not work for my feet at all. But I have only tried the traditional clog style that they have, so perhaps there are some other styles that might work better.
