I've posted threads before about my difficult experience with interviews and getting my first teaching job. I am just curious what you learned from substituting? What did you get out of it? Was it hard? If you have anything to say about substituting please let me know!

I got a better overview of the district. Because I was in multiple buildings, I learned the ins and outs of each. Now, my focus is understandably on the building I work in. I am less aware of the issues that come up in other buildings.
