So, teachers, what strategies are you using to help your struggling readers raise their scores? I did have one student raise from a 5 to 10 (22 was proficient) on the ThinkLink/Discovery formative assessment testing we do periodically throughout the year before we get to TCAP. We have one more in about 3 weeks. I have already been through the coached section of our TCAP practice book with them. Just wondered whatever suggestions you have. Of course we are doing all the regular stuff as well. What strategies are you using?
