I"m always looking to see what shoes teachers wear to work and stand in all day. I personally tend to gravitate towards black sneakers with dressy pants.

What are your "go to" shoes to wear at work all day on regular school days?

flats. I wore heels once and a student told me my tall height freaked him out.
Besides, I don't know HOW people wear heels all day. I am either sitting or squatting on the floor or walking around the room - none of these activities are great to do with heels. lol.
I could totally see myself wearing those ones pigeon linked.

Ive had co-workers that wear heels all of the time... I cant.

I wear comfy dress shoes (flats, Ive had some hushpuppies and they're great) I have some ballet flats too. Fridays are for tennis shoes.

I have a great principal who doesnt care if we wear flip flops... so those are my go-to shoes when its nice out.

Im thinking of getting a pair of jazz sneakers (dance shoes) again. I had a pair a long tme ago and they're so comfy and give good support...

Sketchers!!! Love 'em! I occasionally wear "mild" heels, but not often. When I do, they are usually Eurosoft or Aerosoles - both suuuuuuper comfortable brands!

Well Idk if this will change over time, but when i student taught (this upcoming year will be my first year teaching) I wore shoes with either a small 1-1 1/2 inch heel or wedge. Usually brown or black.

I try to mix it up a bit but mostly I will wear a slide with a 1" inch heel. I find that standing in flats all day really puts a strain on my lower back and feet. For some reason, a slight heel really helps me. I have really big feet so I can never find a pair of gym shoes that don't look completely like bowling or clown shoes in my size. I stick to gym shoes only for working out. LOL

I only used to wear heels when I was subbing because I subbed all the way up to 8th grade in my school and I needed to tower above the boys lol

I heart wedges. My favorite pair is black with some ruffles on the front, but my bunny thought they were lunch, so now they have little chew bites on the side. Boo.

I wear these to work. We have to wear 'slippers', so they give me some support and a bit of a heal while still keeping the spirit behind the slipper rule alive. I'm going to order a few more pairs in Sept. as I know they will run out, and my current pair is starting to show wear from being worn every single day.

    Flip flops all the way!

Through my student teaching and working in a restaurant for 4 years, I only wore heels, and now I can't spend more than about an hour in them! It stinks because at my school all the girls have a major shoe addiction. I am the shortest on my team (at 5'2"), but the only one that doesn't wear heels on a daily basis. I think it is really dumb that our girls that are 5'8" are running around in 3 inch heels, but I guess thats just my opinion cause I'm short, lol.

I tend to wear nice sneakers. With my feet problems, it really helps.

I wear sandals or loafers - most have about a 3" heel. I wear mostly Born or Clarks which are extremely comfortable. Flip-flops are not an option for us, so on casual days I usually wear tennis shoes.

Skechers are my favorite thing to wear to school...I've found that they'll last at least a year without starting to hurt your feet, they're comfy, and they're cute :)

I have a cute pair of mary jane looking shoes that are really tennis shoes. I bought them for like 10 bucks at Payless last summer. I need to find another pair because mine are getting a hole in the sole. :'(
