Last September I left the elementary school I'd been working at as a building substitute for 4 years to pursue a lead teaching position elsewhere. Now they have a teaching position posted that I'm really excited to apply for. I left on great terms with everyone and one of my best and most recent letters of recommendation is actually from that school's principal. Is it appropriate to include this LOR as I apply again for this new position? If I don't use it the rest of letters are a bit outdated. Thanks in advance for any advice!

1000% use it. That's the kind of thing you need to get noticed.
