Does anyone currently use Saxon math? Anyone know what calendar items are provided in it? I am a first-year teacher and the curriculum hasn't arrived yet and just trying to plan ahead on what I need to make/buy for the rest of my calendar area.

Our Saxon Kit comes with : Calendar (with tags for each month, year, and a pattern of shapes for the days in each month), a list of the days of the week, months of the year, a 100's chart, and big coins that we use during our math time. The only extra thing I added was a weather chart and straws to count to the 100th day of school.

Thank you so much! That is wonderful! I would assume mine will as well! That will help in making my list of what things to purchase! Thanks!

I don't know much about Saxon Math. But, recently I have found tutorteddy math curriculum. I have bought it for my daughter; she is in 8th grade. The curriculum is extremely good, cheap and reusable.
