Hello fellow educators, I had a question on the word length of the essays and the case study. I understand that they say the case study has 300-600 words but what happens if you go over the 600? Are you penalized? Or do the people who score the test only see up to word 600? Any help or clearance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
The word count is advisory - but if you're writing over 600 words, you're probably working too hard, and possibly not using the technical terminology of reading instruction in ways that convince the scorers that you know what you're talking about.
