No chance I'm getting involved with s.it like that....literally...that's what the APs are paid the big bucks for. In my six years, the worst I've dealt with is kids copying answers and an occasional "F" bomb. You all put up with way too much.

Do you see what you did there? I laughed for days.

Yeah, I was not happy. At my school, if you are the first teacher who happens across an incident you have to take care of it and/or elevate it to the administration. And if the VP or P are inavailable, well, you’re SOL. Pun intended. I was furious.

I didn't feel personally attacked, but I'm sensitive to the term "failing schools" since it shows a colossal lack of understanding and heaps public derision onto many skilled and hardworking teachers and staff members.

As a private school teacher, you do not work with a randomly selected population, but instead, all your families had to apply effort and money to get their kids into your school. Hence, any economically deprived students are likely much better supported than what would be found in a public school. Well supported children are more likely to succeed in school.

This proposed tax law would harm the already struggling public schools and their teachers. I would think that would be of concern to you.
