I recently helped out with a different sites preschool. They sung alot and played games with the kids to learn different rules and I loved it and the kids like it to. My kids have a hard time remembering to say Please and Thank you. Do you know of any good Please and thank you songs with actions?

I had to start a posistive behavior chart and my kids did awesome yesterday was the first day. And this week we are working on please and thank-you and your welcome. If I hear them using these words with me or my aide or eachother they get a sticker. I have this for the morning only. End of the week they get a surprise. I did not want to resort to this type of what sounds like a bribe. I am working towards other behavioral issues and I wanted to start with this easier one first. Next week will be walking feet. I have a few little runners. But this first week I wanted them all to succeed.
I would drop little reminders and when I heard a child say please or thankyou I would acknowledge it with Thankyou for asking nicely or telling your friend thankyou. They would smile.

They did continue to use please and thankyou even after they got the sticker.

Copied from my files, copied from various other sites:

Friends - "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"

We say, "Thank you. We say, "Please."
We don't interrupt, We don't tease.
We don't argue. We don't fuss.
We listen when folks talk to us.
We share our toys, we take our turn
Good manners are easy for us to learn.

    Manners - "I'm a Little Teapot"

I have super manners. Yes, I do.
I can say "Please," and "Thank You," too.
When I play with friends, I like to share.
    That's the way I show I care!

THANK YOU - "If You're Happy and You Know It"
When my grandpa gives me something, I say thank you.
When my grandma gives me something, I say thank you;.
I can see it makes them happy
When I say it so politely
Yes, good manners mean to always say thank you!

If I spill my drink at lunch I say I'm sorry.
When I break something of yours I say I'm sorry.
I can see it makes you happy
When I say to so politely.
Yes, good manners mean to always say I'm sorry!

If I bump into someone I say excuse me.
If I need to interrupt I say; excuse me.
I can see it makes people happy When I say it so politely
Yes, good manners mean to always say excuse me!

    Manners - "Frere Jacques"

    Please and Thank You
    Please and Thank You
    Sounds so nice
    Sounds so nice
    Manners are important
    Manners are important
    Be Polite
    Be Polite

    A thank you song

I teach prekindergarten and a different student brings snack everyday. We sing this to them. You could sing thank you for lots of things.

    Tune of: Goodnight Ladies.

    Thank you, ________!
    Thank you, ________!
    Thank you, ________!
    For our snack today.
