Picture Book to Teach Multiple Meaning Words

    Does anyone know of any picture books that I could use to introduce multiple meaning words? I teach 2nd grade. Thanks!!

    Well anyway, I use
    The King Who Rained,
    How Much Can a Bare Bear Bear,
    A Chocolate Moose for Dinner,
    Dear Deer

    Homographs. Example: There is a bat in the cave. The boy swung the bat during baseball practice.

    Okay, there is a complete series by Carey Molter

    The Bass Cannot Play Bass is one and then there is one about Live Lions Live on Land

    There is one about producing produce and a few more. I don't have these books but I would guess the age range is K-2 maybe 3.

    That would work too but I was thinking of picture books. Those books would be nice for 2nd graders.

    There is a book called Dear Deer that is in the feb. scholastic flyer.

    Any of the Amelia Bedelia books. They contain instructions for the housekeeper Amelia Bedelia such as Draw the drapes, and instead of pulling the drapes back, she draws a picture of the drapes or dust the furniture and she puts powder all over the furniture.
