According to this Web site (http://www.state.nj.us/education/educators/license/instructcert.htm), the exam is administered at county offices of education. The chances are fairly good that your county's office has something about this test on its Web site: try Googling "[county] teacher physiology hygiene test", and if that doesn't work, try varying the order of your search terms.

Apparently it's possible to get the requirement waived if you've got college-level coursework or military training in health, biology, or nutrition. Have you looked into that?

It's strange that there isn't information on the test... but congratulations to you, fouzia.

Welcome to A to Z, nldl2009, and best of luck on your testing.

Just so you know: forum policy prohibits posting actual specific test questions (see the WARNING at the top of each page in the Examinations for Teachers forum). The general concepts into which the questions tap, however, are definitely open for discussion.

This test is very easy. If you have knowledge about the drawbacks of alcohol, tobacco use, you will definitely pass the test.Just use some commonsense. By the way there is PDF file in the website. If you google it"physiology and hygiene test in NJ" you will find. www.georgian.edu/uploadedFiles/P&H Study Guiderev(1).pdf. Dont worry. You will not fail.

You don't need to take the test if you took a course in school that qualifies for it. I took Human Sexual Development I think. Either way it was all I needed. Check with your adviser.

You do realize the person you just asked posted in this thread over 11 years ago, right?
