We finally had our first open house of the semester, and it was kind of interesting.

A parent somehow got into a topic regarding NK nuclear weapon, and how China is not doing enough, the topic then changed to Muslim refugee crisis in Germany and how they are crippling their country, and then before you know the topic changed to Charlottesville incident and the removal of Confederate statues across the nation.

I'm hoping this was just a parents coming and interacting with you and each other kind of moment, and not a presentation! We have a curriculum night, and it's very focused.

How'd it get to that point?

I prefer a more structured open house.
