I work part time so no health benefits. I also get classified pay so I barely get enough each month. BUT I do LOVE this job.

Well, today I found out that there are two openings in my district due to increase enrollement. One is for first and the other for sixth. They will be on edjoin this weekend. I will ask my Principal to write me a letter and if she could verbally put in a good word for me. She loves me and hates to lose me (her words) but she wants what's best for me. I'm REALLY sad that I'll be leaving my school. I LOVE it there. But, it's a job.

So, I will be applying. I am so excited and heartbroken at the same time. I mean, I may not get it, but the idea that I may be leaving hurts.

Thanks guys! I decided to only apply for the sixth grade position. I also just got an email from my P saying that she'll email me a letter of recommendation. So, my only next step is to vamp up my resume and cover letter. Whew.

At first, I was devastated at the idea of leaving my school. I love it there and I love my position. But, the more I think about teaching sixth grade and thinking about ideas that I have, the more excited I am actually getting. I can't wait to do readers and writers workshop again. I can't wait to begin for my first time math workshop. Since we focus on economy in sixth grade, I can't wait to try out my economy classroom management program.

BUT, the more excited I am getting, the more terrified that I am starting to get that I won't be offered the job. Before I was of the mentality that I'll apply, but I hope I won't get it so I can stay here. And, it doesn't help that my P actually LOVES me and needs me--and I LOVE working with her!! She just emailed me saying that she is sad that I will be leaving.

Haha, I am all over the place right now!!!!
