Thoughts on putting names (embroidered) on bags, such as teacher totes?
Is First Initial and Last Name too much personal info, you think?

Only if you want to get it back! If not, why bother?

I mean big enough for people to see it, like smack dab in the middle/front.
They say you shouldn't put your children's full names on their backpacks unless it's on the inside, so strangers can't see it.
Couldn't find any opinions on adults bags so I was just curious if y'all thought personalizing a tote bag with your first initial & full last name was too much identifying info to carry out in public.

My favorite purse has my monogram. I have a school lunch box with Mrs. Teacherintexas on it, and a school bag with my monogram.

Mine are various combos. Monogram with three initials. Monogram with single initial. Last name. First name. Mrs. Lastname.

I hate when people put their names on things that are school property. For instance, some math teachers in my department label each of their class set of calculators with their name. I think that's pretty outrageous to assume no one else will ever use them. Mine are labeled with room number instead.

I use room number on school property as well. I’ve seen some of my fellow teachers write their names on furniture.

I only write my name on things I buy with my own moola.

As for totes, most people I've worked with do "Ms. LastName" or in preschool "Ms. FirstName".
