    Hi there,

I'm looking for ways to assign mastery quizzes for homework - that is, quizzes that won't be marked as completed by the student until the student gets 100% of the answers correct. Are there any good online or otherwise automated solutions for this?

Our School is an Office 365 school, if that's of relevance.

You can do it with data verification in Google Forms so I'd imagine Excel has the same feature.

Cheers. Would you know of a solution where the students would have to have to re-try the quizzes after they have had a go at all of them? Data verification would mean that they can click at answers at random until they get it right, which takes away the educational value.

We test to mastery of a standard, not a question. So, they get a quiz over X standard this week, and if they don't pass it, they get another quiz over X standard . . . not the same quiz.

Good point. Are there solutions for something like this available?

I suppose there are. I get materials from a variety of places. It would depend on your subject and grade.

That is only true if it is a multiple choice quiz which, I'd argue, is already taking away the educational value.

To your specific question, however, I do not. I know there are learning management platforms out there that do that but I don't know of any DIY solutions.

Can you use modules from online or blended learning programs like Apex or Edgenuity or ALEKS or Compass? They often have options for quizzes like this, and you can usually control mastery scores--just set it to 100% with unlimited retakes.
