I'm looking for some Martin Luther King portrait cutouts. I saw on a blog someone had their students make a picture of his face but they used a template for his hair/face etc.

Anyone know what I'm talking about. Or any other easy crafts for K-2 graders? Preferably something I can do with supplies that are already at school and do not need to be bought or searched for.

Consider having students write about their 'dream' to make the world a better place. They could illustrate and write a sentence about their dreams on 'dream cloud' cut out shapes. I'm always a bit hesitant to have children color pictures of MLK Jr...they tend to pick unrealistically DARK colored crayons...I'd steer away from that unless you had 'multicultural' tone crayons...
