I was planning on buying personalized pencils for my kids, as I've done every year, but this year I decided to do something different, which I read on this board. I'm planning instead to battle the crowds on Black Friday and buy a few games like Connect Four and Guess Who to give to my class to play during indoor recess. I have a great group of kids, and I know they'll appreciate it (last tear's class wouldn't have...)

But I'd still like to have a little something for each kid, so I thought I'd attach a cute hot chocolate poem to a packet with a candy cane stirrer. Someone posted a poem last year but I can't find it. If you know what I'm talking about, can you post it? Thanks!!

Good one, Mrs K! I was going to suggest Snowman soup!

I have a poem I usually give my kids with a book from scholastic, a packet of hot chocolate, and a candy cane. It's at work, I'll post it Monday. It talks about playing outside, and coming to read inside for a while. :)
