I dont know any celebrities but I....

rode on a plane with Nick Lachey he was in first class of course but I was on the front row in coach so I could see him the whole time.

I hung out with John Mayer before he became famous.

I met Tom Hanks and Philip Seymour Hoffman. I was in LA when they were filming Charlie Wilson's War.

I saw Chris Kattan at a restaurant when I was in LA

I met Vanna White when I was a child.

Dale Earnhart Jr. came shopping in the store I worked in years ago. I remember he bought like $700 worth of CD's and DVD's. He does NOTHING for me but he seemed very arrogant.

I have met lots of musicians b/c I used to go concerts quite often.

    I wish I personally knew a celebrity but I dont.:p

    I love, love Hugh Laurie!!

I've shaken hands with Bill Clinton on two different occasions, and he held it wayyyy toooo long.

I've also spent the evening with Ossie Smith, short stop for the Cardinals, when he came to town to sign autographs for kids. I sat right beside him an entire afternoon and handed him stuff that needed signing. He was a perfect gentleman.

I literally ran into Morgan Freeman at LAX, he almost knocked me down, grabbed my arm and kept me from falling.

He actually has two brothers. Brian and Kevin. Clint looks just like their Mom. Kevin is really short and kind of chunky, but plays the drums amazingly. They could have their own band called the Black brothers!! That would be awesome!!! I go to the bar just to see Brian! :D

Yes, I know Wayne Huizenga from his early days at Blockbuster and after his empire building stint at Waste Management. He actually was a client of mine, believe it or not, in the late 80's early 90's. He was super nice and super rich.

The Potvin brothers (Denis and Jean) of the NHL and goalie great Felix "The Cat" Potvin are cousins of mine from Canada.

I've met numerous pro football players but I don't really KNOW them. Rolando Blackmon who was a Dallas Maverick used to live down the street and around the corner.

I partied with Drew Carey at the Super Bowl in New Orleans several years ago.

Oops, Deon Sanders has a massive place near me too but he is rarely, if ever, there.

Oh and I used to work with the guy who is inside of Baby Bop on the Barney show.

I met all the members of Def Leppard. I loved them in the 80s and 90s.

I also taught Jason Glenn, who played for the Minnesota Vikings and Michael Bourn who plays for the Houston Astros.

How on earth is that even possible? Isn't a stage manager a full-time traveling position? And teaching is definitely a busy job!

I'm not saying that I don't believe you; I just don't understand how he could possibly handle both jobs!

I saw Steve Irwin (Croc Hunter) at the Australian Zoo in Queensland, he was on a motorbike and was taking a picture with a kid. He waved at me though, which was nice of him.

That's what I was thinking. A stage manager tours 24/7 with the band they are managing.

A few famous people have crossed my path...off the top of my head (I know there are more...)

I worked with Mickey Mouse and the characters does that count??? ROFL

my daughter's gymnastics coach was an Olympian
we know a hollywood stunt man
Have had dinner with 2 NBA basketball players
once chatted with Lance Bass from NSYNC while eating lunch one day at work-didn't know who he was at the time until someone told me...LOL
I have a picture with Jeb Bush and his wife
Dan Quayle spoke at my highschool (might have done our graduation speech, but don't remember it was way too long ago 25+ years ago when he was a new senator).

Hubby has shaken hands with President Clinton, worked closely with top defense folks (sorry can't name)
Hubby was in the Navy Chorus and was on one of the Miss USA pageants as an escort YEARS ago...

DD and I met and took pictures with the men's olympic gymnastics team from the Sydney games and meet Shannon Miller and others the same night.

A cousin's cousin is a former pro. baseball player

My hubby has meet and spoke with alot of celeb's. He just walks up and starts talking to them.

Brook Shields: My mother says I saw Brooke Shields at the Appalachian Craft Fair. I was only a toddler. But my mother claims I looked at her! So I guess that counts!:)

Kenny Chesney: He graduated from my high school!!!!! He came back in 2001 to donate some money to buy our auditorium new curtains. He spoke, and I wrote an article in the school paper about it. I didn't take my camera to school, how stupid was that? But again, I don't listen to country so it's not that huge a deal.

Magicians: I've seen some magicians that travel the world. I used to go to alot of shows with my family. It was neat because I'd go home and see those same people on t.v.! I've always wanted to meet David Copperfield. My dad has, but I haven't.

Joe Diffie: I saw and met Joe Diffie at Myrtle Beach. Which is annoying, becuase I don't listen to country music, and I don't even know who he is. Why couldn't it be Leonardo DiCaprio? I think he's the hottest ever!!!!!!!!!!

My husband just told me that he met and shook hands with Tom Womac from Dukes of Hazzard. He came to our church! Pretty unexpected, though, to see a famous person in a small-town church!

This is really stretching to 6 degrees of separation here, but here goes:

My great-aunt on my Dad's side was the stepmother (I think) of Jeri Taylor. Jeri Taylor used to be married to Dick Enberg of NBC and CBS Sports, but she is best known for being a writer, director, and executive producer for Star Trek: The Next Generation and its spinoffs.

    Sadly, I've never met her.

That's something I've noticed with most of the politicians I've met. You read about them in the paper, and you're thinking to yourself, "God, what a crook. He must be a lousy sonofab****. If I ever meet him, I'm going to tell him what I really think of him."

And then you really do meet him, and he comes across as a really great guy. These people are successful in politics for a reason. I'll bet even money that a hard core Democrat could meet someone as (apparently) uncharismatic as Dick Cheney and come away thinking, "you know, politics aside, he's really an okay guy."

I say that also because a partisan Republican friend of mine was thoroughly charmed when he met Hillary Clinton when she was running for president. Turns out she wasn't the "militant communist bra-burning man-hating shrew" that he always thought she was.
