So I just saw the new commercial for shows starting back for summer on TLC!! I saw Kate plus 8 is comming!! I am so glad to see the Goslin kids comming back, but I wish that Jon and Kate could work things out and come back together!! I am glad so long as the kids are safe and loved! What do you think of the new kate plus 8?!

So did Jon agree to allow the kids to be on TV? I know the reason Kate Plus 8 stopped in the first place was because Jon didn't want his kids' lives to be on TV anymore...which I really can't blame him for that...even though I do enjoy watching them...they're so cute and funny!

Well he can not control what happens during Kates time with the kids unless it is harming the kids, but how would he know if it is or is not.

I read somewhere where a judge "allowed" it to happen.

Kate being able to film a reality tv show with the children was actually part of a settlement deal between TLC and Jon. TLC was sueing Jon for things he did within the past year that broke parts of the contract he signed with them.

I think those poor kids need a life away from the cameras. Aren't they in school now? Let them have some normalcy. An occasional special to show an update would be good enough.

This disgusts me. Hasn't she already milked her kids enough? They deserve some normalcy, but Kate is too selfish to allow that to happen.

I've seen a total of about 6 minutes of the show, total.

Let's just say I wouldn't nominate either of them as Parent of the Year-- and that was before either had an affair.

You know that both of them are getting something out of this tv show and unfortunately the losers are their children.

I saw the show a few times and wasn't impressed. I was even less impressed when she was DWTS. Looks like she will do anything for a buck...including exploiting her children.

People that lived around them said it was like living around a circus and they were not the most "neighborly" people.

Our friend saw them in the grocery store a few times. He said it was pretty crazy and there was usually some yelling and rudeness.

I liked the show when it was first on, but the last season after they moved into their big house seemed to be more about all of the stuff they got and the trips they took. They morphed from a semi-normal, humble, caring family to something completely different. Although I would side more with Kate than Jon overall, I agree that the need a break from TV for the children. An occasional special would be fine but I don't think there is any need for a new series. Don't they have enough troubles with publicity already?
