My interview has already come and gone, but I was interested in anyone else's take on this. :)

I just interviewed for the position I am currently working as a daily sub in. It's a salaried paraprofessional job at a special needs preschool. I wore my usual dress suit to the interview that I wear when I am interviewing for actual teaching positions. I felt I should look my best, even for a non-teaching position.

Did I overdress, or was a suit totally appropriate?

I always wear professional dress to an interview, no matter the position.

Paraprofessionals don't really hold non-teaching positions. Our paras teach all day long in small groups.

    Anyway, I agree with smalltowngal.

I don't think you can over dress for an interview. You will never look like you're trying too hard. You'll look like you're a professional. :)

Awesome! I'm glad that I seem to have done the right thing. :)
