I have been looking at my curriculum and second guessing myself with what I am doing in my classroom. I have students with severe/profound cognitive disabilities at the middle school level. On my super vague list of curriculum things I am supposed to do, there is a section called 1:1 or 2:1 Intensive teaching. Can those of you that teach this population give me some ideas for what you do for this? I do some things, but think I can redesign and do better in this area. My kids need some communication skills, and that is where I want to start.
