    Hi,

So we have just started a new curriculum for literacy and I need ideas for independent practice work. I want to be able to use with these activities with ANY spelling words/phonics pattern. Differentiation is definitely needed with my class this year!

This would be used during my reading group time, so I'm not a fan of partner games or anything that isn't independent because my kids are chatty and get loud quickly. It's all or nothing with them, so it has to be a quiet activity done by themselves.

Any ideas? So far I cam up with ABC order, sorting words according to phonics patterns, writing sentences with spelling words....

Is there anything that someone else does that I'm not thinking of? Or has anyone done another type of activity that worked for them?

Links to resources are always welcome btw :)
