I would have been a cartographer.

I love maps. The coolest thing that I know about maps is that on each and every map the cartographer puts in a small error, usually something that is not really there. For example, in a residential area there might be a street included that is not really there. It is done so that it can be easily determined if a map is being plagiarized.
In high school I had a geography teacher who let me do lots of independent projects. I worked through a program called Drawing the World by Heart on my own. I don't think I could do it anymore, but I could draw an entire map of the world from memory. I spent the summer between my junior and senior year looking for the error in a map of Sacramento. I actually found it...it was a street that was added at the end of a dead end road. The mythical street had the name of the cartographer.
My antique California map collection is one of my favorite things.
I love Egypt and everything about it!!!
I would like to be a museum curator.
I could happily be a hermit, and may well become one when I retire.
If I couldn't teach, I would still do something with kids (because much of the time I like kids better than adults). Perhaps working with preteens and teens in a drop-in/crisis centre.
Lawyer-prosecutor or international law
I'd be a professional organizer.
Anything with horses
Screenwriter. It's what I went to school for in the first place, and I still do some freelance stuff.
I know weird, but I have always wanted to do this!!
The beach shop sounds pretty good though!
I'd like to be Just A Gigolo
Or maybe a shirtless construction worker
But really a a cartographer I took an aptitude test and it said I would be a good a cartographer.
JustMe~I'd love to be an Egyptologist, really anything to have to do with History!!
a lawyer (don't judge! )
a world traveler
I'd be a fireman, a paleontologist, or an astronaut. But that would be after I was a ninja.
I would own a restaurant. But not a sit-down service - a place where you could call up in the afternoon, order an entire home-cooked style dinner for your family, and pick it up on your way home from work.
I'd like to do that too. As a teacher, I'd love to use your service!
OMG I wish we had a rest. like that here!
I'd probably want to be an attorney. I'm such a dork that I read some of my husband's bar prep books. Unfortunately, I'd have to take classes that would bore me to tears and I'd have to suffer through the bar exam and waiting for results. Meh.
