    School in general:
    3rd grader attacked the AP.
Girl tripped over her shoelaces and fractured her arm.
Kid got rock stuck in his foot.
    Crying kindergartens in the office.

    My classroom:
1 kid is suspended for demanding a girl give him oral.
1 kid is seeing the counselor after accusing various people, including an aide, of punching him.
1 kid snuck his mom's cell phone out to recess and broke it.

    School day isn't over yet...

I had to deal behaviors today that I haven't had all year. I don't know why kids have to be so bad at the end of the year. We have warm weather, air conditioning that doesn't work, 10 days left, and a full moon. That's a recipe for disaster!

One kid emptied a bottle of hand sanitizer on another kid's head.

I guess I should be thankful that the worst thing I had to deal with was kids taking a long time to line up after recess!

The most disturbing thing about this is, why does a kid know what that is? (Probably from an older sibling, but still...)

Today is our last day with students, and they are being released super early, so these next 30 minutes (their last in class before lunch and dismissal) will be testing I'm sure...

My kids are creating a scale drawing of the classroom. It's hilarious that not one has thought that using the floor tiles or the cinder blocks might help them. It's a danger zone in here with metre sticks everywhere!

We're doing a research paper, and things are going mostly fine. But I noticed someone has probably stolen clay from their art class and have been rolling it into little balls and releasing it all over my floors.

I was very cranky with my 4th period class today, and they are my most high energy class. They're annoyed that they have to do work and their complaining finally got me to the point where I essentially told them "shut up and deal with it". (Not in those terms of course, but my tone and meaning was very clear.) Their behavior is getting worse and I'm thinking of extending the work, making it silent, and getting rid of our fun project at the end.

I also learned from the students that one of our counselors has gotten fired due to indecency over social media with a student. I had been wondering why he was missing for the past few weeks, and I think it's sad that the kids knew about this before I did.

Yesterday was the last day of school....
2 kids got into a bloody fight, both sent home.
Someone unrolled a roll of toilet paper and clogged 2 toilets in the girls bathroom.
Poop writer struck again in the boys bathroom.

This school year if finally over. (Amen!)
